This Labyrinthodont Amphibian fossil in our Paleontology exhibit is from the Late Triassic period in Potter Co. This large aquatic animal seldom ventured on land. Its flat, bony skull was equipped with sharp teeth for spearing fish. A medial third eye was present on the skull.
