@CrossCountryUK @railandroad @BBCWatchdog I wanted to travel @CrossCountryUK in the first instance but was repeatedly directed to a non @CrossCountryUK service. If I wanted to travel on GwR and TFW I would have actively sought out their offerings. May I be so bold as to suggest you prioritise your own trains.

@PPPManagement @railandroad @BBCWatchdog 2/2 it is entirely up to the customer to decide how they'll use their ticket. If you provided the pertinent detail which I asked for before (you weren't travelling on our service), I could have even explained the before so you could change trains to go back on our own route. ^RF

@CrossCountryUK sold me a first class ticket on a journey with no first class section. Not sure this is legal??

@CrossCountryUK @railandroad It could have been bought from any; but I bought it from you. Do you not have an obligation to accurately reflect what you are selling against the price?@BBCWatchdog

@PPPManagement @railandroad The same ticket could have been purchased from any retailer as it's a centralised system, but it's likely that you'll be offered the quickest route as an option. You can scroll up and down for other routes and even take alternative routes which are slower, but may offer 1/2

@CrossCountryUK @railandroad - do you have a view on mis-selling third party tickets?

@CrossCountryUK So you sold me a ticket for over £200 that only had one leg (about a third of the journey) with First Class! YOUR app recommended the route and didn’t default to YOUR trains. Strange

@CrossCountryUK And @CrossCountryUK that route is your default journey from Exeter to Manchester

@PPPManagement I can only assume that you're not travelling with CrossCountry in that case as our Turbostar services (which can run as 2-car sets) still have First Class in Coach A. ^RF

@CrossCountryUK Only two coaches. No first class in either

@PPPManagement Coach A is First Class across our entire fleet. Our trains don't run in fixed formation and can reverse en-route, but they'll usually be at one end of the train. ^RF

Fantastic weekend in Istanbul. Superbly organised by @sportevents flew through an outstanding airport - Istanbul. Took over an hour and a half to disembark @manairport #shambles. Travelled through @manairport on Tuesday £1.2bn build - travelators not working 🤦‍♂️
