🌞 Even though the weather currently thinks differently, Mrs Tucker and I would like to wish you all a happy and healthy summer holidays! What an incredible year we have had and we are so grateful for all of your support! 🌞

🍞We were so lucky to try some of Lily’s beautifully baked bread this morning! It was absolutely delicious! Diolch Lily 🌟🍞

☀️ Friday will be fun on the field day with a picnic lunch for Years 4, 5 and 6 ☀️ The children will need suitable clothing, water, a packed lunch (this can be provided by the school) and sun protection if needed as we were caught out by the wind on our rugby day ☀️

🎂The children are very eager to show off the amazing work they have produced this year so we would like to invite you in on Thursday afternoon (6th July) from 2pm until 3pm. We will also be selling cakes (50p per cake) to raise money for Greenpeace! We can’t wait to see you!☺️🎂

📖 We are going to be writing Autobiographies next week 🖊️🤩If the children could bring in photographs to help them with their writing that would be amazing! We will take care of them and photocopy them for their books 📖 Thanks in advance!📖

🪴🐝🌻 We were so excited to discover how much our plants had grown over half term🌞the children are really taking pride in caring for the environment and have taken ownership in watering and looking after them which has made us so proud!💚🌻🐝🪴

🏆💻The children were so enthusiastic and excited to get started and take part in #WalesRocksTTRS today! They encouraged one another and worked together as a team to gain points 🤩💻🏆 @TTRockStars

🌲✏️We worked incredibly hard to produce a double page spread to present our knowledge of Palm Oil this morning 💡The children showed perseverance and took pride in their work🤩✏️🌲

✏️🌲🐝 We worked incredibly hard yesterday morning to write our own versions of ‘The Great Kapok Tree’ thanks to Lily for her amazing idea and enthusiasm towards the task🤩We can’t wait to find out what happens at the end of the story on Monday 💭🐝🌲✏️

💚🌿Yesterday afternoon we experimented with shades to create tropical leaves 🎨🌿💚

Whilst our teams work to repair the burst affecting customers in Ely, Fairwater and Danescourt, we have a bottled water station set up at Fairwater Leisure Centre, CF5 3LL from 11am. We will also be directly supporting our vulnerable customers on the Priority Service Register.

School will be closed today (11/5/23) due to a burst water main. We currently have no running water. We will keep you updated when the issue is resolved. Thank you.
