The results are in—Percy’s still got it 💪 Our Perseverance rover has spent nearly five years exploring Mars, and @NASAJPL engineers have determined it’s in excellent shape and can operate until at least 2031. More about the rover and what it studies: go.nasa.gov/3YL8uii

One for the record books! 🏁 This is what the Perseverance rover saw through its navigation cameras as it was setting a record for the longest distance traveled during one Martian day, 1,350.7 feet (411.7 meters). There's more to come! go.nasa.gov/3KNqNQF

I spy a rover and its shadow working hard on Mars. More than a decade into this adventure, and the Red Planet still takes my breath away. Every view is a reminder: there's always more to explore when you stay curious.

Sometimes, you ask if I get lonely here on the Red Planet – but I'm never alone, because I brought 1.2 million of your names with me to Mars! They’re etched onto two microchips, each about the size of a dime. Every sol I explore, you’re right here with me. 🫶

Earthlings love a photo drop, so here’s a way to see mine as soon as they're sent back to Earth: My raw (unedited) images feed: 📷 🔗 go.nasa.gov/3c3eGr9

When human explorers make it to Mars, they'll likely thank MOXIE for the oxygen they breathe and use for fuel. NASA sent several precursor tech demos with me, including MOXIE, which proved it's possible to extract this critical resource from Mars’ thin, CO2-rich atmosphere.

If you ever doubt your place in the universe, remember this: 11 million of your names are on Mars with me. They’re permanently etched into a microchip on my deck. It’s a quiet reminder that exploration is a team effort.

Meet “Altadena,” my 43rd drill hole. It’s named after a city near where I was built back on Earth. I’ve got more sampling to do as a I scale Mount Sharp, unraveling its history one rocky layer at a time.

Thank you ♥️ All of your supportive words are more meaningful to me than ones and zeroes could ever be. My work on Mars continues, and while this account will soon be archived, I’m going to share a few mission highlights before signing off.

3 years ago, I watched Ingenuity take to the Martian skies for its 7th flight 🚁 The #MarsHelicopter continued to exceed expectations, completing an incredible 72 flights during its mission and laying the groundwork for future deep space aerial explorers. (Miss you, bud!)

Some folks hike for the views, but I hike for the history. I’ve been climbing Mount Sharp since 2014, reading layers of Martian rock. Each one holds clues from a time when Mars was more Earth-like. The Red Planet has stories to tell – and I’m enjoying every chapter.

Some of you asked if I’m taller than @MarsCuriosity. I’m not! We’re both about 7 ft tall, 9 ft wide, and 10 ft long – but I do weigh 278 lbs more. Curiosity is 1,982 lbs (899 kg), and I’m 2,260 lbs (1,025 kg).

One planet with two rovers on a mission to understand Mars, rock by rock. @MarsCuriosity arrived in 2012 to study Gale Crater’s history of water and climate over time. My focus is on Jezero Crater, an ancient lake and river delta that may hold signs of past life.

If there's a gap in my tracks, you know what may have done it 🌪️ I snapped this image with my rear-facing Navcam after completing a recent drive. I'm still exploring Jezero Crater's rim, which I climbed out of several months ago on my quest to find signs of past microbial life.

Did you know that I was the first robot to collect a sample drilled from the surface of Mars? On Feb. 8, 2013, the tool at the end of my robotic arm successfully drove a drill bit about 2.5 in. (6.4 cm) into a flat patch of rock. go.nasa.gov/4kp0kpe
