These past years I’ve grown so much & realized that while growth can be a tad-bit uncomfortable, keeping my integrity and staying true to who I am is one of the major key to survival. I’m entering this new chapter more grateful, and motivated than ever!! Happy birthday to me !

Tinubu appears not to even know what’s going on in Nigeria, except where there is land to grab, loans to obtain and steal and using Nyesom Wike to cause confusion in preparation for his failed and dead 2027 ambition . At this point, #TinubuMustGo!

I genuinely don’t know where all of this will eventually lead us as a nation. If the rising tensions and the constant reckless narrative are simply because of the combination of the individuals currently occupying the Presidency, then why can’t we just wait and channel our dissatisfaction through the ballot boxes in 2027? We all clearly remember the events of the 2023 elections. Neither President Tinubu, his Deputy nor the APC built their campaign around religion. They did not tour mosques preaching religious fear. They did not weaponise faith for political gain. Instead, they focused on experiences and regional balance. But Peter Obi, the very candidate many of propagandists supported, went from church to church framing the election as a religious war and busy calling daddies to help him take the message to their congregations. I genuinely thought that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket would be seen first and foremost as a Yoruba/Kanuri ticket, two ethnic groups coming together to represent national diversity, as people have been preaching that religion should never come before tribe. But now, because that narrative doesn’t fit the current agenda, suddenly everything is reduced to Muslim/Muslim, as their ethnic identities no longer matter. If we genuinely care about this country, our politics must be guided by truth, not reckless narratives crafted to inflame sentiment. Nigeria deserves better.

@jidesanwoolu While I commend the projects being delivered by an LGA, cuz development should be a bottom-up, rather than a top-down, process, this disease of naming projects after politicians undermines place-based planning. Why not name based on community priorities & characters?

Earlier today, I was back in my neighbourhood, Lagos Island East, a place that shaped so much of who I am, to commission several key projects delivered by Chairman Hon. Muibi Folawiyo, in celebration of his first 100 days in office. We commissioned a new housing estate, a command center for the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps, and the newly rebuilt and upgraded Lagos Island East Council Secretariat. The Secretariat now includes over 60 offices, a modern legislative building, 300- and 500-seater halls, a mosque, a church, a staff clinic, a pharmacy, a supermarket, and a multi-agency complex. It is special for me to see these developments in my community. Together, we’re building a neighbourhood that reflects our history, our pride, and our shared vision for progres
