Nigeria needs to find the right people who have the passion, the zeal, the commitment and skills to work and give them the work [sometimes at the detriment of entitled folks]. We can get a lot of things right when we go that route.

The World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) has been underway for two weeks. Held every four years by the International Telecommunication Union’s Development Sector (ITU-D), the WTDC is a high-level forum where member states—including Nigeria—set global priorities and strategies for advancing telecommunications and ICT development, with a particular focus on underserved and developing regions. The conference centres on expanding telecommunication infrastructure, narrowing the digital divide, improving universal and affordable access to ICT services, and strengthening human and institutional capacity. It also supports the development of policies that enable digital inclusion, especially in rural and remote communities. As the conference draws to a close today, ITU member states conclude two weeks of exchanging best practices, sharing national experiences, and deepening international cooperation on telecommunications development. The decisions made at WTDC 2025 will guide the ITU-D’s programmes and priorities for the next four years.

Thank you @NICKIMINAJ for joining me at the U.S. Mission today. You are a powerful voice for the voiceless. The violence against Christians in Nigeria is a crisis we cannot ignore. The U.S. is committed to concrete steps to stop the killing and hold perpetrators accountable. We will not look away.

Thank you Mr. President! Nigeria will work 🇳🇬 and @officialABAT will succeed 🙏
Senator Kashim Shettima@officialSKSM

Vice President @KashimSM has assured stakeholders and development partners of the commitment of President @officialABAT to promoting girl-child education across Nigeria. He said that, among other government interventions in girl-child education, the school feeding programme remains essential. Speaking during a meeting with a PLAN International delegation (@PlanGlobal) led by its Director of Programme, Quality and Innovation, Helen Mfonobong Idiong, on Monday, Senator @KashimSM invited a teenager, Joy Ogah, to take over the seat of the Vice President for a day and address the nation.

An #Osinbajo will naturally feel delighted at Muslims getting converted to Christianity. A #Pantami will just as much feel the same delight at Christians getting converted to #Islam. #Nigeria is both a great Christian country and a great Muslim country at the same time.

I believe every Nigerian — including Igbo leaders — has the right to seek the nation’s highest office. Win your party ticket, win the people, and you’ll have my support 💯

But calls for secession or Monday-morning protests by Egbon Sowore only deepen division. Let’s stay calm, respect the law & build together. Nigeria will work 🇳🇬 and Mr. President will succeed 🙏
