If you want children to use words well, read brilliant books with them, talk about about words in context, discuss why authors have used the words they have. Making time to talk about books and words is key.

How have I never come across describingwords.io until today? Type in word you want described and get massive word bank of adjectives. Click the adjectives to see dictionary definitions. This could be a massive timesaver for pupil generated word banks and for vocab work!
