On Dec. 11, the Universal Accreditation Board fulfilled one of its most important duties, granting Accreditation to 43 individuals who earned the Accredited in Public Relations credential from July to November 2023.

The first APR Boot Camp of 2024 is scheduled for April 17–19 in Lansing, Michigan. This will be an in-person event. Registration deadline is March 18, 2024. Register here: rise.prsa.org/store/events/r…

Attendees of this course will also receive a coupon code for free access to the APR Practice Examination. Instructions will be sent after registration for this event. Note: This course is not for those just beginning their APR journey.

This course is designed to provide a setting that will meet the needs of busy professionals whose schedules don’t permit extensive preparation time.

There are no CMS test centers; all examinations are offered remotely. Limited exceptions are available for candidates with accessibility needs and in other cases of extenuating circumstances. Questions? Email accred@prsa.org

Candidates approved to take the exam during December 2023 will receive instructions for testing at a Prometric center. Candidates testing after Jan. 1, 2024, will register and take the exam with CMS only. Prometric will no longer be available for testing.

Effective Jan. 1, 2024, examinations for Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), APR + Military Communication (APR+M) and the Certificate in Principles of Public Relations will be administered in a new system.
