If these players don't see it as motivation enough to go on and win it then, it means they were never built to do anything great.

In the PL teams set up in deep blocks against us so it’s harder to score. We get a lot of corners and are good at them so that’s why we score them. Context matters

The team left the defenders exposed in transitions way too much, which is why although we scored a lot over the season we conceded too many too. I’d prefer us to play attacking, but I want us to just win now

Too loose at the back cost us so many times. We didn’t win anything playing that football and got ridiculed. I don’t mind a pragmatic approach to win now.

I’m saying the solution to that is giving your best players more room to improvise, like Pep did when he faced low blocks. Arteta isn’t allowing that - hence the struggle.

I believe the reason we falter towards end of the season is a mixture of fatigue and caving under the mental pressure put on us by media. Fergie used mind games successfully, the media are doing the same imo.

Changing the manager will always be a gamble. The only candidate who I think would *guarantee* improvement is Enrique. His football is phenomenal. Not sure he would move. Difficult to predict how likes of Glasner, Iraola, Cesc, Zidane, Maresca, Inzaghi et al. would do.

Which means that 1 open play goal isn’t enough any longer. So you need set pieces to win games. I can’t break it down any simpler

@PS11_115 @fkhanage It's 6 seasons where the end of the season has left a bad taste. EL semi loss, bottling top 4 to Spurs... Even in 2022-2024 whenthe team arguably overperformed the end of both those seasons was still heartbreaking. A constant theme where April/May has been a disappointment
