After completing a mentoring program, my boys were crowned today and earned their seat at the Table of Kingz. It was emotional and powerful- and a proud principal moment! Leading from the heart with restorative practices at school. Happy Juneteenth 2024

Congratulations to our 9 schools in District 9 who received $200,000 today allocated to each of their schools to fund STEM labs from Assemblymember @Dais77NY @DOEChancellor @NYCSchools @bronxbp

Seismic activity didn’t ruin PS 11x’s day! K and 1 played for Holi and had “the best day!” Soccer team won, we celebrated our debate team, both buildings responded to safety when needed and most important, we all got back home to our loved ones at the end of the day.

Coming soon: P.S.11x Community Garden in Highbridge. Took a trip with staff, students and families to introduce the new garden plot- “Esperanza”.

As a new principal, as I reflect on 2023- I am grateful to an amazing leader who welcomed me (with open arms) into his school back in January 2023 to see what is possible when we BELIEVE in our community. @TorresRealTalk can’t wait for you to come to see us at PS 11!

PS 11’s Highbridge Hawks- played their hearts out. We either win or we learn. As principal- bringing sports and the arts to my school community was an important goal for me. Grateful to my team for making this dream a reality! Stay tuned for our soccer match this week!
