Park Sharon Grounds

Starting this account to show the process of rejuvenating the baseball facilities at Park Sharon. Once these field were in tip top shape, but they’ve fallen on hard times recently. Our goal is to make them a place kids are proud to play ball.

Second weekend of the baseball season starts with a Majors game under the lights tonight. Looking forward to a fun night with our Park Sharon families.

@johnpaulp What insecticide do you use for your residential apps?

Mowed and weedeated yard. Sprayed it with 2,4-D to knock out some weeds specifically sticker burs for the summer. Sprayed yard and perimeter of the house and window seals with an insecticide. Sprayed roundup on weeds in flower beds. Triple double Dad day 😤

The cherries are in bloom!

Seeing great results this year with Anuew EZ for Poa control in overseeded ryegrass. Apps every three weeks completely eliminates seedheads and Poa is blending into the ryegrass.

Just finished our last field prep of the night. That only leaves us one field to get ready in the morning, plus emptying trash cans. See you out here at 7:30 tomorrow!

Mowing is finished. Now it’s time to drag for practices and paint some foul lines.

Final prep for Opening Day has begun. Started the morning with some backpack blowing and now on to a little mowing before lunch. Gorgeous day in Carolina!

80 degrees in Charlotte and the ryegrass is loving it. Our callery pears are in bloom and it would appear that spring is upon us. 1 week until Opening Day and I like where we’re at.

The ryegrass in my yard is ready to get going. Particularly in these areas where the neighborhood dogs like to urinate.
