A team from PSASB, the National Treasury, and representatives from MDAs, Projects, Constitutional Commissions & Independent Offices, and NG-CDFs are reviewing Cash-to-Accrual Financial Reporting Templates. The templates aim to enhance the quality of financial reports.

Internal Auditors from Mombasa, Lamu, Taita Taveta, Tana River, Kwale, and Kilifi Counties concludes a workshop on Risk Management & Global Internal Audit Standards Monitoring at the KSG, Mombasa. The workshop aimed at assessing the adoption levels of Risk Management & GIAS.

Yesterday, the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) & the Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (PSASB) signed an MoU to strengthen public sector accountability & transparency. The partnership will reinforce financial accountability frameworks across public entities. @OAG_Kenya

The Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) and the Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (PSASB), in meeting their shared commitments of enhancing accountability and transparency in the public sector, have today signed an MoU to strengthen financial accountability structures.

The International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board has issued a new standard on Climate-Related Disclosures – IPSASB SRS 1 – for application by all public sector entities, effective 1st July 2028. Read more: psasb.go.ke/public-sector-…

PSASB is reviewing the existing annual financial reporting templates and invites all stakeholders to provide comments. The annual financial reporting templates are designed to provide a standardized framework for financial reporting across all public sector entities.

Multi-agency technical team led by PSASB, with the Office of the Auditor General and transitioning entities, conducted a strategic review of Phase One (1) of the shift from cash to accrual accounting.
