As the Cluster Commissioner overseeing the Department of Employment and Labour, she regards these national discussions as vital to addressing structural unemployment, especially youth unemployment.

Ms Zukiswa Mqolomba, Deputy Chairperson of the PSC, is participating in the News24 On the Record Summit in Cape Town on 19–20 March 2026. The summit focuses on strategies to create five million jobs over ten years.

Professor Somadoda Fikeni represented the PSC at today's National Language Summit in Cape Town, hosted by the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, PanSALB, and SADiLaR. He presented on Language and Service Delivery, focusing on Frontline Multilingual Service Standards.
