@sarahge55 the OP carries the direct implication that a trans woman with a beard must be genderfluid and encouraging people to treat it as such. that would directly disrespect my identity on a fundamental level, and is dehumanizing to me.

@aMoral_Mistake A variety of reasons. It helps me look handsome, it protects me from the sun, as, like most historical butch women, I work manual labor. It is enjoyable to groom and style, to fidget with, and it does not make me feel like a man.

“Body hair within female range” I am a cisgender woman who literally grows FACIAL hair as well as very thick and visible body hair. I am living proof that women can be hairy as fuck. Misogyny is NOT how you deal with transphobia.
