@tarunvats33 Yea what can I do? I don't even want to report them via samsung members because some samsung employee will just give very generic responses like restart your phone, clear RAM using Device Care, etc. I stopped giving quality feedback as what I'll get is mostly just generic.

@PSK907ishere ive only used samfw and never had an issue that wasnt caused by my own error. as for accessing download mode from 8.5, i havent tried that yet. im out rn but once im home ill see if booting into maintenance mode and trying to access download mode from there still works

@TheOneDanTek Yeaaa I'm good with that part. The Odin flash part. But how will I get back if I don't have download mode after updating to One UI 8.5? Also do you recommend firmware from samfw or sammobile? I heard some reports of malware in samfw

@PSK907ishere and i have to say, in the odin slot where it says "CSC" make sure to put the file starting with HOME_CSC unless u want ur phone to be factory reset

@PSK907ishere if you have a windows pc or laptop (x86 for reliability, arm can have issues) get Odin, find ur model number for phone on samfw.com, download files, extract, boot phone into download mode from maintenance mode, and then follow thw instructions on odin

@TheOneDanTek Regarding this, I too noticed recovery options became very less and even Download Mode being turned off in One UI 8.5. Also I've flashed many firmwares in the past so I'm familiar with Odin, download mode, etc. Sad to see it go.

@PSK907ishere its z flip5 and i think it could be the beta but i got the latest 8.5 build off samfw. it feels dead stable, js has usual samsung qc issues but great standby drain and slightly better in use drain than latest 8.0 build
