Before someone starts an SSRI, they should know about PSSD. Persistent sexual dysfunction that does not go away when the drug stops. Not rare. Documented. A 13% rate in some populations. Nobody mentions this at the prescription counter. Nobody mentioned it in the media campaign defending these medications. Informed consent means telling people the full risk. Not just the part that makes them say yes.

Watching prescribers double down on SSRIs when a teen develops akathisia, suicidal ideation, or emotional numbness—then labeling it "worsening bipolar" or "treatment-resistant depression"—is medical gaslighting at its worst. It's not the illness. It's the drug. Stop pathologizing withdrawal and dependence.

PFS Patient: Diagnosed bone loss, muscle wasting, body composition changes, facial changes, voice changes, Peyronie’s disease, low libido, joint issues, skin changes, cognitive dysfunction, anhedonia, low energy, feminization, etc. Random commenter: “Low libido can be caused by anything. These people are hypochondriacs.”

Psychiatry doesn't cure despair; it commodifies it. Turn normal human struggle into a chronic illness → create dependency → rake in billions. The outcomes speak: more disability, more suicide, more pills. When do we call it what it is—a racket?

Why do some people say antidepressants saved their life… while others say they nearly destroyed it? In my experience, many long-term users go through three phases. 🧵

Modern psychiatry is just over 100 years old and still struggles to explain psychosis, depression, and OCD, yet Ayurveda described them 3,000 to 5,000 years ago through Bhutavidya, where “bhūta” meant subtle energy, not demons. A NIMHANS-linked study even found temple healing outcomes rivaled or beat antipsychotics without side effects, so maybe it’s time to question the hardware-only model and hear the full conversation on the Radically Genuine Podcast. #Ayurveda #MentalHealth #Bhutavidya

Iranian chess player Dorsa Derakhshani was given an ultimatum by the Islamic regime: wear the hijab or you won’t be allowed to compete. Not only did she refuse to wear the hijab, she joined the USA team and became a champion. Queen behavior if you ask me. 👑

Psychiatric meds don't fix chemical imbalances—because we've never found them. They're more like Tylenol, masking symptoms. Thinking you have a 'broken brain' is great for pharma, but bad for you. #MentalHealth #Medication

Just read the AOL piece on the BBC Radio 4 interview with Jill and Martin Kingston. Their son Thomas, 45, married to Lady Gabriella Windsor, was prescribed sertraline for work stress and insomnia. Sertraline, seemingly, never worked so he was switched to citalopram. Adverse effects hit, Thomas stops cold-turkey, ends up dead by drug-induced suicide. The Coroner blamed it on the meds. Parents are spot on: patients should sign forms acknowledging suicide risk, and someone close (buddy) needs to be in the loop for starting or stopping SSRIs. The Coroner also sent a Prevention of Future Deaths report last year. Still nothing from the British drug regulator, the MHRA. Sertraline and citalopram carry black-box warnings elsewhere for suicidality spikes. UK GPs keep handing them out like sweets. This is the same old story. Data shows risks, yellow cards pile up, coroners keep flagging cases. Kudos to the Kingston's for going public. Full AOL article: aol.com/parents-lady-g…

PSSD Network | Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction
@RestoreBritain_ Few people know this, but antidepressant can also lead to irreversible loss of sexual function. It's called Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction. There has been almost no effort by the NHS to even warn British children prescribed these drugs of this possibility. x.com/PSSDNetwork/st…

Antidepressants can lead to physical changes in the genitals. Dr. Ahad Waraich, through the use of ultrasounds, has detected penile scarring (fibrosis) in young men experiencing #PSSD. The penile tissue of young PSSD patients usually resembles that of an 80-year-old person.

She tried to warn everyone in 2001. The men she named were powerful. What followed ruined her life.💔⚠️ Karen Mulder was one of the most famous models in the world. She worked with Versace, Dior, and Chanel, became an original Victoria’s Secret Angel, and was one of the highest paid models of her time. She was everywhere, admired, successful, and trusted inside the fashion industry. In October 2001, Mulder appeared on a French talk show and spoke about serious wrongdoing in the modeling world, including assault, abuse, and exploitation. She directly named senior figures. The interview never aired. Reports later claimed the footage was destroyed before the public could see it. Within hours, she disappeared from public view and was taken to a psychiatric hospital in Paris, where she stayed for months. Her mental health was questioned. Her credibility was torn apart. Her career collapsed. For years, she was portrayed as unstable and unreliable. The men she accused kept working. Years later, one of them, Jean-Luc Brunel, was exposed as a close associate of Jeffrey Epstein. Court records and testimony linked him to an international exploitation network connected to modeling agencies. Many women later accused him. He was arrested in France in 2020 and died in custody in 2022 while awaiting trial. Another executive Mulder named, Gérald Marie, was later accused by at least fifteen women of assault and abuse. A BBC investigation had previously raised serious concerns about his behavior, yet he remained influential in fashion for years. Karen Mulder was not protected. She was silenced. Two decades later, the men she warned about were being investigated, exposed, or dying in jail cells. The truth did not change her fate, but it changed how her words should be remembered. She was not crazy. She was early.

A big thank you to the 200,000 people who support this channel. Three years ago, I decided to do something very unpopular: tell the truth about psychiatric medications. I knew it would alienate me from many of my peers. But I couldn’t stay silent anymore. It started with a webcam and an echoing room, talking about the side effects of psychiatric drugs, a topic most people didn’t want to touch. At the time, it felt niche. Almost lonely. What’s happened since has been life-changing. This channel has now been viewed tens of millions of times. Countless lives have been impacted by giving people clearer, more honest information so they can make informed decisions about their health. Hundreds of medical students, doctors, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and social workers have reached out to me and my wife, wanting to learn how to practice in more thoughtful, informed ways. Their growing knowledge will impact many more people than I could of ever dreamed to help. The fact that 200,000 people have chosen to hear from me regularly tells me something important: this message matters far more than I ever imagined. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for being here. I’m not stopping. See you at one million.

What Psychiatry is: - No test - Lie to people (chemical imbalance) - Addicted to drugs - Damage their brain - Blame the patient - Deny everything - Over charge - Can't be held accountable - Cook their brain with electricity until they shut up when the drugs does harm.

I have routinely come across clients who have been on "antidepressants" for 10 years between the ages of 15-25. They identify as asexual because they have no sex drive. They were never told that these drugs numb the genitals and sexual dysfunction is a common effect.
