Telling someone to “just lower the dose” when they’re reacting badly to a medication is like telling someone with a peanut allergy to just eat fewer peanuts. That’s not how it works for everyone.

“I’ve taken it for years with no side effects” isn’t an argument. It just shows you don’t understand basic biology or genetic variability. Different people respond differently to the same drug. Your experience doesn’t cancel out someone else’s. It’s unbelievable this still needs to be said.

There’s no treatment, and they’re then dismissed by the medical system. This isn’t simply depression. I interview them regularly on my channel, Moral Medicine.
