Handing over #PennStateAMD MS/MEngr online and resident grad program director job to Dr. Allison Beese @PennStateMatSE today to take it to the next level. I can't believe how much it grew in 4 years: 170 students enrolled from 77 different companies and 41 degrees!

Quality is still #quality (just like physics is still #physics) when it comes to #AdditiveManufacturing. Requirements must be met like any other manufacturing process, and we did our best to survey the needs and gaps for #qualitycontrol and #sixsigma in #3dprinting.

Sadly this happens way too often and you end up wasting time redesigning the part for #additivemanufacturing making it even more expensive. All the “design freedom” and “free complexity” talk just comes back to bite us - we are victims of our own hype!
