ZACK HIPPS OPENS UNAPOLOGETICALLY MANC CAFE IN THE HEART OF THE NORTHERN QUARTER The latest addition to the Northern Quarter’s cafe scene is set to open this month, and the whole approach is bombastically Mancunian. Morning Glory (see what they did there?) is food creator Zack Hipps ‘love letter to Manchester’. Expect bees, brews and fully-loaded bagels. There’ll be baked goods from local bakers Vanilli's Cake Co. as well as pièce-de-résistance, the reinvented Manchester Tart - a much-overlooked local delicacy. It’s aimed at busy city workers and residents, with plenty of grab-and-go sustenance, but you can sit in and admire the bright yellow, foliage-filled decor too. Coffee is by Dark Arts and freshly prepared canned matcha is by The Matcha Kyoto, plus there are heaps of vegan options on food and drink.
