🚨 PEOPLE ARE PANICKING AFTER SEEING WORKERS IN FULL CHEMICAL PROTECTIVE GEAR SPRAYING STRAWBERRY FIELDS — AND AMERICANS ARE EATING THIS
A viral video showing workers covered head-to-toe in full chemical protective gear while spraying massive clouds of pesticide mist across strawberry fields is sending the internet into full panic mode.
And now the footage is colliding with growing public concern over reports linking conventional strawberries to some of the highest pesticide residue levels in the produce aisle.
For years, strawberries have repeatedly appeared near the top of consumer “Dirty Dozen” lists highlighting produce with detectable pesticide residues after testing.
Viewers can’t stop pointing out the contradiction:
• The workers are wearing respirators
• Their entire bodies are covered
• They avoid breathing the chemicals directly
• Yet the strawberries still end up in grocery stores labeled “fresh”
Now the comments are completely exploding:
• “If they need THAT much protection, why are we eating it?”
• “This looks like a toxic waste cleanup.”
• “And they wonder why cancer rates keep rising.”
• “Modern food production is becoming terrifying.”
• “There’s no way washing removes all of that.”
Others argue:
• this is standard agricultural safety protocol
• concentrated pesticides require protective equipment during application
• and pesticide residues on food are regulated before products reach consumers
But the footage is fueling a massive online debate about what’s really being sprayed onto America’s food supply… and whether people have any idea what they’re consuming long term.
Be honest… if workers need respirators and full chemical protective gear to spray this stuff, what do you think it’s doing inside the human body long term?

@TonyaWPDE Do you assume that no one outside your viewing area sees your tweets? Or do you think there's only one Dillon County and everyone in the world reading your post will know where you are? Your bio gives no clue either. Where the F is this fire?

On the heels of his 11th Bass Pro Tour win, Tennessee pro @WheelerFishing has alerted media that he plans to shift his focus away from tournament bass fishing after the 2026 season. He will instead pursue a newly discovered passion: kingfish, redfish and marlin. Wheeler will forego the 2027 BPT season to focus on kingfish and redfish events around southern Florida, and on select billfish tournaments (including the White Marlin Open, where his travel partner @AdrianAvena won the small boats division in 2020).
“Bass fishing has been my focus since I was 10 years old, but to be honest, my heart is really in saltwater now,” Wheeler said shortly after claiming the Stage 4 trophy on Lake Brownwood, Texas. “I’m already spending all of my off time fishing saltwater. As soon as a tournament is over, I race down to Florida to fish redfish and kingfish. I’m consumed by it. That’s where I want to focus my energy.”
The announcement comes as no surprise to astute followers of Wheeler’s social media, where he recently posted “There’s just something different about being out there” during one of his getaways to Florida.
When reached for comment, Wheeler’s wife Alicia, was enthusiastic about the transition.
“We’re all excited to pursue this new passion, I’m all in,” she said. “Who wouldn’t want to spend their time on the beach in all of these exotic locations? Sign me up for that.”

WTF! - Welcome to Florida!
Outsiders hit I-4, I-95, or I-275 in Florida thinking it’s just another highway.
Ten seconds later their soul leaves their body and starts floating above the traffic like this.
Three lanes suddenly turn into six.
Someone’s doing 95 in the left lane, someone else is doing 50 while texting in the middle, and a rental car with out-of-state plates just merged across four lanes because their exit appeared three feet ago.
Turn signals?
A rare Florida wildlife sighting.
Construction cones?
Permanent residents.
And somehow there’s always a tourist braking to take a photo of a palm tree.
Meanwhile every Florida driver is completely calm, sipping gas station coffee, dodging potholes, thunderstorms, and the occasional alligator crossing like they’ve been training for it their whole life.
The outsider just sits there, white-knuckling the steering wheel, realizing this isn’t a commute…
It’s a Florida driving survival test.

Short circuit Al from North Carolina and sparky Sean from Ohio slammed several nice ones this morning on Big Toho, Kissimmee FL. Al was refered and directed by Captain and Tequila Dockside at Big Toho Marina to give us a call and the rest is history.
The big bass was caught on shiners and we also caught them on Git Bit Baits single tail grub, Repala Jerk Shad, and crappie jigs. Altogether we netted 25 fish in a four hour trip.

Old Florida is disappearing under concrete, but if you go looking for it, you can still find glimpses of what it used to look like, tucked along the backroads.
Places like Evinston in Alachua County, where I filmed this video, still hold onto that quiet magic; with dirt roads draped in Spanish moss, historic sites still standing, and that slow, peaceful feeling you don’t find in many places anymore.
If you’re searching for more glimpses of Old Florida, here are a few places worth exploring:
🌿 Micanopy
🌿 McIntosh
🌿 Cedar Key
🌿 Steinhatchee
🌿 Melrose
🌿 Live Oak
🌿 Waldo
🌿 Newberry, Archer, and High Springs
What are your favorite Old Florida spots?

Setting up the Christmas Tree while my buds are out fishing tourney today.
Follow up on last Sr. wednesday morn tourney on Toho: Terry Seagraves and I took second place with 16.5lbs or so. Winners had around 18lbs and big bass was seven lbs. Caught mine on wacky worm and they also chewed good for us on big gambler/zoom Uvibe worms in varied colors. Great support by Captain and Tequila Dockside at Big Toho Marina for serving 22 boaters, duck Hunters, locals!
Meanwhile, hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, we met my son in St. Augustine for a trip on the water for the Night of lights, ate Harry’s Bar & Grille, and Drank from the Fountain of Youth
I’ll be out scouting tomorrow, clients are stacking, wave big!

Had a couple of BLK Belt Jujitsu performers execute the 60-70 bass choke with lipless crankbaits yesterday. We served up multiple surface doubles while the bass fed heavily on needle fish. It's been a long time since I reported a frenzy trip like the one we experienced. Guys, meet Bob Schimer from IL and Dave Hurly from Lakeland, FL.

@NorthernTails1 The survival in me says: cup, grind, pulvarize, or fire starter rock. Looks too handy not to have been used for multiple purposes.
Found a handy sandstone rock with flint face that shapes as a hide scraper.
