Working on pro-family policy @EPPCDC. "Contributes" (citation needed) to @PublicDiscourse, @Deseret, @TheDispatch. I had a marvelous time ruining everything.

High Point University in NC, which beat Wisconsin in basketball today, conducts campus tours on golf carts, offers wealthy students private housing for $40,000 per year and built an "airplane-cabin interior" so that students could rehearse sitting next to an executive on a plane.

For some moms, non-monogamy is a way to reclaim more than just their sex drive. The Cut’s Erica Schwiegershausen reports. thecut.com/article/non-mo…

We’ve just put our latest issue to bed. Christopher Caldwell has written the cover. He argues that the Iran war will likely mark the end of Trumpism:

The Orioles announced today that they will allow fans to enter their ballpark 2.5 hours before first pitch. That will allow them to watch Baltimore take batting practice. The Nationals should do this too. Fans should be able to watch their favorite players take BP. Kids should be able to try to get balls hit by James Wood and Dylan Crews. It enhances engagement, access, and interest. It would also cut down on lines to get into the game right before it starts. It might even also make the team more money based on opening concessions earlier.

I wrote about Lindy West. Her memoir, in which she is guilt-tripped into polyamory by a husband who vaguely implies that monogamy is racist, is a cautionary tale about turning marriage into a political project. Her polyamory is just the coastal lib version of being a tradwife. 🧵

I'm a huge fan of @clara_jace and Christos Makridis, and there's a lot I like about this paper, but I think the results are a lot trickier to interpret than the popular reading (And maybe their own reading) suggests.
