@24Dparks Kessler being the top 3 rebounder + rim protector, while Ayton and Hayes were at the bottom, the difference will be noticed. Imagine they turn Knecht, Vando, and maybe Bronny/Hardy into Kuminga, Thybulle, and Kaluma. Smart will be missed, but the defense will be fine.

I think the lakers will miss Smarts defense but the number of “experts” that are disregarding Kessler’s impact there like it’s less than what Smart brought is batshit crazy

@Dyjon54 They are going to miss Smarts leadership, and def ply, but he certainly had moments where his offense was atrocious. Maybe they pick up Thybulle and Kuminga, and we will be happy the team has some high-efficiency offense.

@Hyperbaly @showtimeluka That's 1 season with a surgery that fixed the shoulder issue, which he had for years. Since it was fixed it won't be an issue for him any more, and yes, they tanked heavily. Look at the time and type of "injuries" he had in the other seasons. Pure nonsense.

@GreyRaj_ People blast Jake far too harshly, he played almost every game, he improved on defense, and it was clearly noticed statistically. Yes, his shot got awful towards the end, but he can get that back. He shot well before, and we even had the "who is nr 12?" moment. It's 6 mil not 26

@24Dparks He isn't ready for that, and him losing games for the team will just make his development process worse. It's better to get him used to the rythm, build his body, get used to the tactics and tricks.

I’d be totally in favor of Carr starting next to Luka and AR. You’d have the infrastructure behind him in guys like Grimes/Williams and Thybulle if he’s signed to spell him if he’s struggling on a given night. His athleticism and off ball movement shooting could be huge for this team

@LakeShowLukaaa Best defensive cast to be sure. I'm excited to see how they would create their style and rotations, having both Kuminga and Thybulle would solve a lot of issues. We have seen several seasons with players you can't use, talent level went down, but the depth vastly increased.

Add Kuminga and Thybulle and this is the best supporting cast Luka has ever had

Why did it take one young man with a camera to uncover what government inspectors failed to discover for decades? It’s simple. Washington pays 90% of Medicaid expansion costs. To the states, it's basically free money, so they have zero incentive to check who's actually eligible for these benefits. Make it a 50-50 split between the federal government and the states, and you'll see states taking an interest in fraud real fast.
