@OisinMul_ I think @Spm2369 has good advice. Maybe focus on getting your club to improve security around the training ground, what with Southampton twice next year.

Frank Lampard’s record of 1.85 goals per league game since he arrived at @coventry_city is the best since the first Harry Storer era (1931-39) when there was 2.07 goals per game.

Your reminder that if West Ham are relegated today, then next season will be the first season in the entire 138-year history of the English top flight without a team beginning with the letter W.

If you’re going all-in on support for the US during this World Cup, you should gear up immediately. They may only be in it for a short time so don’t wait to get your stuff.

@Keir_Starmer After all the drama of the playoffs, and Southampton cheating, this is the football issue the PM is commenting on.

Football should bring people together, not shut them out. For the first time since the competition began, fans won’t be able to watch the Champions League final for free. That’s not right. This is bigger than wanting to watch Arsenal in this historic final. It’s bigger than one club. Hardworking people shouldn’t have to fork out for a subscription to watch this match. I urge TNT Sports to reconsider and make the final next Saturday free to watch.

The EFL has released its sanction reasons for Southampton. Some of the key findings include: 👉 Southampton lied about footage being obtained 👉 Spying was authorised at senior level 👉 Tonda Eckert was directly involved 👉 Will Salt (the spy) felt pressured into spying Damning.

@ricardo_chambo @talkSPORT Completely agree. Also find it frustrating that everyone keeps laying it's equivalent to a £200m fine. It's worth £200m if you get promoted, not if you play in the game. Very disrespectful to Hull.

If you repeatedly try to cheat to gain an advantage in a competition, you should expect to be kicked out of that competition. If you're using the argument that it's equivalent to a £200m fine, does that mean kicking a team out of the League Two play offs for the same offence would be fine as there's less money at stake?

@dkaustin87 @nattiecw @henrywinter You were also one of the favourites to win the league, along with leicester, Sheffield United and Ipswich, didn't mean much though did it.

Disappointing to see the glee @henrywinter has shown watching #saintsfc go through what they’ve gone through over the past few days, especially when most of the football community agreed that the punishment was disproportionate. Part of the old boys club I guess.

@StuartJones7 It wasn't an open training session. Filming an opponent so you know their set piece routines, starting line up and all other tactical set ups prior to a game allows you to organise how you counter act those things. It's premeditated. Why do you keep you poker hand hidden?

One happens in every game in every league in the country, and whilst it's an issue, often get debated with differences of opinion and equals itself out cross games/season Every team has a bad decision go against them The other is blatant cheating, which #saintsfc admitted.
Stuart Jones@StuartJones7

What form of cheating has more impact on a result of a game? Blatantly diving in the penalty area to con ref in to awarding a penalty or A lad with an iPhone recording a segment of an open training session from 100metres? One gets a yellow card, the other gets a sanction worth up to £200m Both are deliberate cheating. #saintsfc

Can we just get on with the play off finals now and give the clubs playing in the final all the attention leaving the Southampton officials and some of their deluded supporters time to reflect and work out where it all went spectacularly splat???
