Absolutely gutted today when I heard that Troy Murray has passed away. We spent 3 months together in 1996 when we both got traded to Colorado and won The Stanley Cup! You were an inspiration to all of us! I’m gonna miss you Muzz! RIP!

Just had my first ever acupuncture treatment. Trying to get relief from chemo induced peripheral neuropathy. Oh, my! I was talking to the lady Doc and then it was like “did you just put a needle on my head?” She said “yep.” And was like “I thought we were gonna talk about it a little more first”. And she said “what is it you think we do here?” Why you gonna put needles in my head when it’s my feet that are the problem? It didn’t really hurt. But there were over 20 needles head to toe. And then they hooked several of them up to a car battery. She said “tell me when you feel it”. I said “ I FEEL IT….I FEEL IT!” Gonna take 12 sessions to see if it helps, but I’m Optimistic. The electrical pulses were running down the same channels that the phantom pain does. Gotta think that’s a good thing. I just hope they got all the needles out before I left. #pinata
