I regret to inform all my beloved friends & family that late Monday night my mother has entered a new phase in life and is no longer with us in this world. Unfortunately she lost her battle in St. Vincent’s hospital but I assure you she is no longer suffering. A kind hearted woman that was so loving to so many. I understand this may come to a surprise to some of you. But she did not want to be remembered by so many by the last few moments of her life. But I promise all of you, she did not pass alone. My aunt, cousin, and wife were with her for every step of the way. And for me, I got to feel her last breath with my very own hand that night. A feeling & moment I will never forget. Mom. We may have not had the best relationship. But memories are forever. Thank you for being my mom. And I’m so happy to have been your son. I’m so glad I was able to rekindle our relationship before your passing. I promise, you will forever stay close within my mind, but more importantly my heart. Alanna Marie Gantt Mom… you are at peace now. I love you.
