China is already heading four of the major United Nations special agencies (FAO, ITU, ICAO, UNIDO). Now, it has another influential position. This is China’s pathway to plant its global governance model as a future global order.

NO JOKE: 🇨🇳 China, which oppresses 1.5 billion people and gave the world the Coronavirus, has just been elected to the @WHO Executive Board, empowering Xi Jinping to shape global health policy.

2. It was already leaked that west coast pipeline will be submitted by July 1, designated as a nation building project by October 1 and approved by September 1 2027. Pathways Alliance gets a date in the Agreement: 1st phase by 2035.

My thoughts on MOU/Implementation Agreement - actually pretty good overall? 1. You knew the "headline" carbon price increase to $140 by 2040. A price floor for TIER carbon credits, which I think was the bigger issue, will be initiated 2030. It was not revealed what that floor would be. CAN and AB also splitting the costs of 75 million tonnes of Carbon Contracts for Difference (CFDs)

Alberta Oil CEOs Flip Flop on Carbon Pricing @maxfawcett and I discuss oil sands CEOs' hearty endorsement in 2014/15, only to backtrack now while pretending that they're victims of Ottawa. Yeah, hypocrites. Own it, oil bros. #ableg #apoli youtu.be/1eaHCxZhvLM

The Metlakatla First Nation has deployed a “nuclear option” by withdrawing consent for the $1.3 billion Ridley Island Energy Export Facility — holding the project hostage to force the Prince Rupert Port Authority into breaching its legal commercial contracts. This serves as a warning that in British Columbia, signed agreements are not safe from escalating Indigenous demands. Read the full story: c2cjournal.ca/2026/04/sign-o…

@JasminLaine_ How do you honestly describe this pipline situation? What is acceptable behaviour, much information from chiefs…. the only way to discribe this is “extortion” I completely understand government can be impossible to deal with but what is in Canada‘s best interests? Not this!

The media has long made it a loud talking point that First Nations are opposed to building a pipeline… but according to Bill Lomax, First Nations are “very interested”

The NDP’s DRIPA chaos has triggered Indigenous groups to threaten blockades and “collective resistance” against BC. Unelected activists now demand veto power over the government British Columbians elect. When I’m Premier, I will repeal DRIPA and end this mess.

Mark Carney says trade with the U.S. is a weakness. He says there's a rupture between our countries. Four days later, he says Canada and U.S. are “stronger together.” He can’t keep his story straight. How can he negotiate our interests?

Canada and Alberta have an MOU to advance a West Coast pipeline and are engaging communities to move it forward. Meanwhile, the BC NDP is organizing opposition and won’t even come to the table. The NDP are a direct threat to BC’s prosperity, and the entire country.

An interesting new phase in negotiations of the MOU as the camps pitch north/south pipeline arguments in the public domain Smith, whose government is spending millions on early-stage planning for the new conduit, sees major advantages in going north. While the premier hasn’t ruled out a southern route, Alberta officials believe it would be significantly more expensive, the person said. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

There is no clearer admission of guilt than a government that wishes to hide its work, and this is exactly what this BC NDP government's Bill 9, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Amendment Act, does.

BREAKING: Brookfield is again pushing to ship Canadian hydroelectricity from Powell River straight to the United States - with zero benefits for the community, B.C., or Canada. That's why I've formally written to the Canada Energy Regulator demanding public hearings be held in Powell River at the earliest possible opportunity. These dams were built 100+ years ago to power 2,000 local pulp mill jobs. Now they support about six. Canada's natural resources belong to Canadians - not well-connected, foreign corporations.
