@xrayeyes36 @frictionalgames It’s a shining example of existential horror. Frictional does such a good job — in general but especially in SOMA — of making the player feel so isolated and lonely. It can be scary, sure, but I think more than anything, it’s really sad.

I just beat a survival horror game called #Soma and the ending broke me. I was hoping to get scared and it did that, but it also gave me depression by the time it finished. @frictionalgames freaking outstanding storytelling! A must play for any horror fans that like a good story!

@Rosilind420xo @AbigailJoyFloat @t_sadiity Sure, but “so frequently encountered” is a euphemism for “so many people got it wrong for so long that we couldn’t ignore it anymore.” Unfortunately, that’s how plenty of words and idioms end up being accepted as standard.

@RossTweetsGames The difference between Dishonored and most other stealth games is that those other games punish the player for being discovered. Being discovered by enemies in Dishonored is as fun as keeping your cover intact.

I have never played Dishonored. A lot of people seem to have a lot of good things to say about this game. Let’s see if they are right 👀
