Watching "War Machine" on Netflix with my brother- I'm in awe. Might be the worst movie I've ever seen. So stupid, pointless, and preposterous on every level- it's astonishing.

(I’m with Danny and a staunch Swindon fan, who admittedly were premier league when I started 🥴)

My neighbours boy is having another “mental episode”… it happens at least once a fortnight, an ambulance and 2 paramedics have been parked over my fucking drive for the last hour and 15 minutes 🤬.. I can imagine some poor old person laying in pain with a broken hip while this prick gets a “there there”.

@jim8oy66 We’ve over-indulged mental illness. Yes life is tough and we all get sad, we all get anxious sometimes, and we all have a hard time concentrating on boring tasks, but ultimately the motivation to give yourself a kick up the arse and get on with it has to come from within.

Walking past a David Lloyd car park on a Saturday afternoon looks like an absolute parade of pure wealth.
You see endless rows of brand new Porsche 911s and Range Rovers sitting outside the premium gym and spa.
It looks like the ultimate definition of success, but the reality behind the dashboard is completely different.
Let us look at the actual numbers keeping that illusion alive.
To put a brand new Porsche 911 por Range Rover on your driveway, you are easily handing over £1,200 - £1,500 every single month on a PCP finance deal.
Then you are paying another two hundred quid a month just for the premium gym membership so you have somewhere flash to park it.
That is nearly £1,700 pounds leaving the current account every single month, to rent an aesthetic.
Over a single year, that is a full £20,000 Stocks and Shares ISA allowance completely wiped out.
They are literally going broke just to look rich to people they do not even know.
If the monthly salary stops, the car gets repossessed and the membership gets cancelled almost instantly.
Real wealth is not driving a rented supercar to a premium treadmill.
Real wealth is driving a standard car that you own outright, while your cash buys slices of the S&P 500 $VUSA or Vanguard Global $VWRL in the background.
Are you funding a car dealership's profit margin?
Or are you building freedom?
Please don't rent the illusion.

The worst thing I ever did was buy my multi-million-pound house in Britain.
For years, I followed the advice not to buy my own home because it’s a liability. Instead, I used to buy income-producing properties and use that income to rent my own place to live in.
But then I reached a point where I had millions in the bank. I thought I’d reached a point where that advice was great for people starting out - but for me, it was time to buy. I had four kids, and I wanted stability, so I bought a house.
And honestly, it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made.
The biggest reason is how quickly I outgrow it. Since then, my life and business have rapidly expanded.
At the time, I thought the £3M house I bought was a proper forever home.
But within a year and a half, everything changed. I had another child, my income grew, my standards shifted, and suddenly that “forever home” started to feel small.
When you consider stamp duty, and the cost of tying up so much capital in one location.
Let me know - would you ever sink £3M into a property if you had the cash? Or would you rent forever?
