I mourn my dear friend and elder, Hon Joyce Mpanga. She loved me and called me her daughter. I was honored to interview her when she launched her book, “It’s a Pity She’s Not a Boy”. I last saw her on 3rd September this year when @CivsourceAfrica hosted an event to celebrate elders. I will remember her warmth, her hard work, her integrity her resilience, her passion for and advancement of women’s rights in Uganda.
