And your friends told struggling Nigerians they had no right to ask because Elon money is not enough for bills and we pushed you into undergoing the surgery in the first place…..

My own is: there's no clarity and transparency in this donation. There are contradicting tweets of this operation both from Baddie and Dickson. You all left people behind only to come back and request another donation. Things are not done that way. In everything we do, let's not jeopardise trust. Baddie didn't beg for his leg correction. Twitter people did the findings and raised it for him. Leaving him at this moment is not idle, but the truth must be spoken to power. The people demand accountability, and it is simple. To those who have, please donate, and we wish Baddies a successful surgery. You all should stop saying they are dragging him. People are only curious because this was not what we.were told in 2025.

As for people asking how much I’m contributing to my surgery, I saved up about 2m for my surgery from my payouts on X which was paused since January.

@tx4tax @lollypeezle For adult and for his own case, it’s quite different. It’s better to go a well capable hands than spoil his legs for him all in the name of trying to help. After all, he never asked for it, Twitter family were the ones that advised him to go for the surgery. Thanks to the donors.

@lollypeezle My neighbor had surgery done for his 7year old daughter here in Nigeria at Cedarcrest Hospital. It was on both legs at the same time. The surgery was done last September, and she is now walking without crutches.

This Baddy case wouldn’t have been like this if we have a working country. What is bone reconstruction surgery that our surgeons can’t handle that we had to enter Egypt for? Remove flight fare and accommodation, you will see that the surgery isn’t that expensive. Na Nigeria disgrace us.

Baddy, I’m sorry if this comes off as insensitive, but I need to ask. You’re a big account with well over 100k followers, which means you likely earn at least $700 every week. Are you saying you couldn’t save up to ₦1m of your own money to contribute to your surgery? Let’s even leave aside the fact that people weren’t clearly told the donations were only for one leg. How much have you personally contributed so far? Because from the outside, it looks like you’re doing better than a lot of the people being asked to donate. Earning close to a million naira every two weeks from revenue and gigs, yet people who are not even sure where their next meal will come from are expected to give from what little they have to send you to Egypt just doesn’t sit right.

Loyalty is very important in this life.

@Dir_Martinsz It’s not about staying low-key. If he had gone quiet, people would’ve been worried something was wrong. It’s about empathy. Show those helping you that you appreciate and respect their support by also making an effort to help yourself.

If I were Baddy, honestly, after that first surgery I would’ve stayed low on this app ..at least until the second one was done. There’s no need to jump into controversial topics. People keep telling him “don’t let anyone limit your freedom,” but look at how things have turned out. He should’ve just stayed calm, avoided certain conversations, and focused on supporting his mutuals, simple things like consistent shoutouts would’ve gone a long way.
