Literally look into any domain, and the answer is the same. Because no one pays them. You will make more money speed running all the Dark Souls games with no damage than writing the next great novel. Thus, those are the spectacular things of the Zoomers.

One of the strangest and silliest things people say about our present situation is, "Our ancestors would never have tolerated this." Formally, of course, it's true. If you picked up a bunch of Anglo-Saxon housecarls and dropped them in modern-day England, there are plenty of things they wouldn't tolerate about the way we live, and they're not difficult to imagine. But this banal truth masks the real nature of the problem, which is that the tyranny we labour under is a uniquely modern tyranny that would simply have been unthinkable and undoable in any previous age of history, even for a significant part of the 20th century. Tyranny has existed for thousands of years, but not like this. Our tyranny requires mass democratic politics, mass education, mass entertainment, mass communication and mass surveillance, fast international travel, an enormous ideological apparatus, the lingering guilt of World War II and colonialism, and plenty more besides to sustain it. The problem isn't just that modern man has somehow deteriorated or even degenerated--although I'd be the last person to deny that this has, in fact, taken place--it's that tyranny is so intimate and so personal, and touches Western man's soul so deeply from such a young age, that it becomes a qualitatively different project to overthrow it. It's just as easy, in revolting against the system today, to reinforce it as to remove it. If only it were simple enough to grab an axe and stand on the threshold of one's home, with a son at each shoulder, as in Junger's famous image from The Forest Passage. It isn't. This is a project that requires all of our mental, emotional and physical resources to realise.

Johann Andreas Eisenmenger's two-volume, 2000 page "Entdecktes Judenthum" – Judaism Unmasked – is one of the most censored books in history. Nearly every copy of the original printing was almost immediately seized. Internet Archive blocks free access. There is no translation.
