(1/5)In Remembrance of Operation Crossroads 🌊☢️ Today marks the anniversary of the first atomic bomb test in the Marshall Islands. On July 1, 1946, Bikini Atoll was the site of Test Able, part of Operation Crossroads to study the effects of nuclear blasts on Navy vessels.
