Pacifichem 2025 made Ala Moana and Waikiki so lively this week—so many badges everywhere from morning till night. Seeing researchers from all over the world (including many from Japan) reminded me how much productive work is happening globally, and it honestly made me happy. One of the grad students I really respect presented in English today and is heading back to Japan—great job and safe travels! Such an amazing event.
