It’s #WorldBookDay, so what better time to revisit #AnneLister’s greatest passion: reading! 💛📚

On 3 March 1854 #AnnWalker was buried in a vault in the old now demolished St. Matthew's Church. In the 1860s a pulpit was put over the Walker vault (and the brass plaque placed in a nearby window recess.) This 2024 ledger stone now marks the spot.
