Unsure what to make of Ty'Ron Hopper? Don't worry, the Packers probably are, too. Isaiah McDuffie's recent contract extension creates an even murkier set of circumstances for the former third-round pick: 247sports.com/nfl/green-bay-…

The Packers quietly signed Isaiah McDuffie to a one-year extension last week as an early birthday gift, keeping him in Green Bay through 2027. The ultra-reliable linebacker and special teams captain has missed just one game since 2022: 247sports.com/nfl/green-bay-…

Antonio Freeman's son, Alex, scored a goal for the USA in today's World Cup match. Which means I got to write a story about it, which also means I got to reference Robert Brooks, Don Beebe, Andre Rison, Donald Driver, Robert Ferguson, and Karsten Bailey. 247sports.com/nfl/green-bay-…

Luke Lachey once said, "If you can’t block, you can’t play." He's the Packers’ newest tight end, and those seven words are all you need to know about what he’s bringing to Green Bay. His skill set has been on Brian Gutekunst’s wishlist since the draft: 247sports.com/nfl/green-bay-…

The Packers are signing Luke Lachey, the tight end they claimed off waivers from the Texans on May 12. He failed his physical, so he never actually signed. Over a month later, he's fully healthy and now on the roster. They released Jakobie Keeney-James as the corresponding move.

Matt LaFleur this morning on MarShawn Lloyd: "He's a guy we've obviously had to learn—and we've learned together—how you best manage him. As long as we can continue to build on what we've done, I think he'll be in good shape. "He's also learning how to practice. When to really punch it and when he doesn't have to go quite as hard, because that's usually when he's had some issues, is when he's going 100 miles an hour all the time."

The Packers officially announce that they’ve signed Christian Watson to a contract extension. He’s one of four players in franchise history with five-plus receiving TDs in three of his first four NFL seasons, joining Don Hutson, Antonio Freeman, and Max McGee.

Micah Parsons doesn't think the Packers have a missing piece. They have the right players in the building, but it's a matter of those players being held accountable. "The greatest teams, if you look at all of the documentaries, it was player-led accountability," Parsons says. "The coach shouldn't have to tell players to stay onside or limit penalties. Whatever the penalty may be, that's not the coach. Between me, Jordan Love, Zaire Franklin, Edgerrin Cooper, Xavier McKinney—we've just got to do a better job at that, and we've got to hold players accountable. When asked if accountability was lacking last season, Parsons said, "I wouldn't say it was lacking, but I definitely think the standard has been raised."

Micah Parsons has spent much of the offseason training—and coaching—the Packers' 2025 rookie tandem of Barryn Sorrell and Collin Oliver, saying that he gained a couple of little brothers throughout his rehab process. "I love those guys to death," he says. "One thing I loved about them was that they weren't afraid of the hard conversations we had. I'd take them to lunch and say, 'This is what you need to get better at.' Even while I was away, Collin was sending me videos of his OTA reps asking if his footwork looked right. He's like, 'Are my feet looking right?' I'm like, 'No, man. You gotta keep practicing and focusing on it.' "That just shows how much he believes in me and how much I believe in him—that safe space we have between each other goes a long way."

Micah Parsons on fellow Penn State alumnus Dani Dennis-Sutton joining the Packers' defensive front: "Oh, my God. We didn't have a crazy relationship [in college] since I was gone before he got there, but just seeing him this week, I think we got a really, really good football player," Parsons said. "But, specifically in this 3-4 system, he's going to have a lot of success just with his length, his speed, and the violence he plays with. He's going to be a really good football player for us."

Micah Parsons said that he still hasn't fully accepted the reality of his injury. "It constantly replays in my brain," he says. "I'm constantly thinking, how can I not—you don't even know how much time I spend on ChatGPT about my injury. I just can't accept where I'm at. I'm like, 'Man, how do I keep progressing and progressing?' "It's nonstop. I haven't accepted it yet, but I work hard as hell every day trying to make sure I'll come out of this better."

Packers' Tyrod Taylor said that he was fortunate to be a part of a Super Bowl-winning team in his second season in the league, but over the course of his career, he realized just how difficult it was to get back. "You definitely try to look for teams that have the best talent, but that doesn't always win championships," he says. "It's about the nucleus, the chemistry, and obviously staying healthy. Every team at this time of year feels they have the pieces to do so. "It's about putting in the work, day in and day out, keeping the right mindset. And I think the guys in this locker room have the right mindset to be able to achieve what we all want to achieve."
