@GreenGold4Ever 100%. The voices and takes were more ubiquitous, too. Social media, for all of its societal ills, does invite some variety in takes even if many people insider it a hive mind.
It used to be easier to build and control a narrative because there were less, more powerful voices.

@DanJohn30864073 @Sweetness_34_ @PackersHistory1 Yep. While you’re being used as a bottom feeding negotiation chip between billionaires and the government.

@JohnnyOeleven Tolkien, through Aragorn also said, “there is always hope” in the face of near-certain death at Helm’s Deep. And through Samwise said “where there is life there is hope.”
This team is still “alive” — do you think they just roll over to the Bears next week? No way, they’ll fight
English

@JohnnyOeleven I just refuse to put expectations one way or the other. It will be what it will be and for now, there is hope. Even if it’s a small hope.
That hope exists whether you consider it false or not, so why not remain open?
I hear ya though, Parson’s injury is tragic!

@PackersHistory1 I’m just trying to be realistic. What good does it do to give yourself a false sense of hope? I can say it that way too. I guess I’ve been burned by this team so much after getting my hopes up, that I am sick and tired of being let down when expectations are so high.
English

@JohnnyOeleven Probably not but how does it serve you to say it’s a 100% certainty? What good does that do?
Hope always dies last

@PackersHistory1 Like I said...championship expectations are gone. There is no way this team is winning the Super Bowl. Division? Sure. A playoff game? Maybe. Super Bowl? Not a chance.
Can it still be a "successful" season? Yes! But for all intents and purposes, the season is "over".
English

@JohnnyOeleven Eh, I refuse to speak in absolutes.
Absolutely unlikely? Yes, but it’s not over.
English

@PackersHistory1 Unfortunately, for championship expectations, it is over.
But as Lombardi once said, "The Green Bay Packers never lose. They just run out of time."
Here is to a better, and healthier 2026 campaign.

@4HLsartorialist Funny way to admit no one invites you to parties haha
