Iraq for example is what Arabs called the place The Sassanids and Romans called them other names...Also it is scientific method globally to use current flags for old domains.

I lived in Saudi Arabia and I have seen Americans consistently humiliate Saudis. Even at their Christmas fairs and Easter egg hunts in ARAMCO they used to subtly poke fun at Saudi outfits by making caricatures.
Saudi laws never applied in ARAMCO. So while Saudi women couldn’t drive, American women in the military could. If it’s ok to give more rights to a foreign woman than your own, then you’ve already signed off on respect and honour.
