Our police are corrupt.

🚨WHAT THE HELL?!!!! Divers doing a ROUTINE maintenance check at the Converse Reservoir dam in Mobile, AL... ...just found an underwater IED!!!! Apparently a grenade-type bomb was sitting submerged at the bottom of a dam that holds an entire city's DRINKING WATER. It took FIVE agencies: the FBI, ALEA, the Sheriff, Mobile PD, and a maritime render-safe team, to pull it out and detonate it. Someone put a BOMB in our water supply... WHERE IS THE NATIONAL COVERAGE?!!!

Officially entering the "I've seen some stuff and still can't find my car keys" era today. As I began my victory lap, I am excited to embrace what is to come this next year before I get punched in the face with 60. My goals are as follows: Walk more (mostly walking to the fridge and forgetting why I went there). Achieve absolutely nothing before 10 am and call it "strategic recovery". Eat cake for breakfast as often as I want. Perfect the "back in my day" rant. Travel more, complain about prices more, and perfect the ancient art of falling asleep during movies I paid to watch. Say "yes" to more adventures...and by adventures I mean early bird specials and leaving parties before 8 pm. Today I am 59 years young. I'm still awkward, confused and pretending I know what I'm doing. But I have every intention of living for Jesus and making this next year ridiculously fun and maybe just a little bit irresponsible.
