If you’ve been in this town for any length of time, you’ve heard to voice of Tom Kane, whether you knew it was him or not. One of the most prolific voice actors in the country, he started doing voice work while he was in high school at Shawnee Mission South. From there, it was the University of Kansas and from there, the stars. He did the trailers for Disney Pixar movies. He was the voice of Yoda in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series. He was the voice of Professor Utonium in The Powerpuff Girls. He was the voice of the Academy Awards. He was... everywhere. And he was an absolute prince of a man. He passed away today after a long battle following a stroke. What a life. What a legacy. What a loss. RIP, Tom
