Yes, I’m not saying we should do frontal lobotomies or electric shock therapy, but there is a place for counseling , medications, learning and following a daily regimen. I have worked in the mental health field for years and a 72 hour hold is not doing anything but pissing them off. There are a lot of people that can be helped in the right environment.

@clownworld One single penny if I'm forced to tip. Because I tip for good service not because it's demanded. Been in restaurants for like 30 years. It is 100% up to the customer IF they want to leave a tip.

@MilaLovesJoe I even give a dramatic bow or curtsy. It brightens their day. Just a simple act of holding a door or even the dramatic welcoming in has an impact for that person. Small acts of kindness help people get through their day.

@PeterSweden7 I don't bother with direct pronouns to begin with. It's their name, "kind person," "fine feathered friend," or something like those. Most times its "kind person" if they get offended with that one, I simply do not care because it's a friendly reminder to be kind

Different physical standards for men and women in the U.S. military have existed for a long time. BUT, there were also combat roles that were male-only. Then, under Obama, all combat roles were opened to men AND women. BUT, different physical fitness standards for men and women remained. Today at @DeptofDefense — we fix this. All combat roles are open to men and women BUT they must all meet the same, high standard. No standards will be lowered AND all combat roles will only have sex-neutral standards. Common sense.
