The APXP girls 4x400 relays had FOUR teams in the top 10 while finishing 1st and 2nd! HISTORICAL PERFORMANCE!!!The APXP boys finished 5th! #ResultsOverReels The A team (Jaden Small, Laila Walls, Mariah Maxwell, Mia Maxwell) broke the facility and meet record by over 2 seconds. 3/4 of those girls ran on a APXP 43.73 National Record 4x1 last summer. Mia had the fastest split 54.65 The B team (Brooklynn Ford, Grace Awoyemi, Parker Coes, Paige Bell) finished 2nd. 2/4 girls ran on a APXP 45.36 15/16 age group National Record 4x1 last summer. Grace had the fastest split 56.50 The boys team (Josh Shelton, Dillon Mitchell, Sam Onwuchekwa, Blake Love) finished 5th. 2/4 boys ran on Track Houston’s 15/16 age group National Record 39.60 4x1 last summer, The D team (Adebola Iyiola, Jayla Benefield, Madison Potts, Zara Stephens) finished 7th. 1 of those girls ran on a APXP 45.36 15/16 age group national record 4x1 relay last summer. Zara had the fastest split 57.12 The C team (Eguonome Akpobassa, Maryann Akpobassa, Kaylah Parks, Raelyn Cyril) finished 10th. Maryann had the fastest split at 56.44 We are so proud of all of them. Learning how to bounce back after a disappointing performance in the 400 by running a PR of 24.97 in the 200 was what I was supposed to learn yesterday. @I_Coach_Speed Time to shift my focus to the 200 for the regional final.
