Always funny when a Kdrama does something problematic and fans go: "NO--THE ACTORS/WRITERS/PRODUCERS DIDN'T KNOW; STOP JUDGING THEM!" Bro, there is no need to infantilize Kdrama creatives like that. Kdramas have the capability to have garbage politics like everyone else.

@CarrieCnh12 Wow; did NOT hear that. I always think back to the Wizard of Oz movie where the lead was treated absolutely terribly, and this is a scary reminder of why this industry needs strict regulations/unions. Overall, cannot understand the high praise this drama got at all.

@PakistaniPepper Nothing about this drama has interested me past the first two trailers. Then I learned today that there were major issues on the production from the elderly cast being mistreated to the cast and crew not being fed well on set.

Dropped #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines after Ep4. Could not connect with leads' feeling for each other. Their "love" was just posed as a given since the beginning--nothing I saw developed or earned it for me. And that's not an emotion I can connect with in this stage of life.

@lakshgiri I genuinely can not understand the hype anymore. Giving it four hours felt like an exercise by the end. And I was EXCITED for it lol
