Paul Signac was born on November 11, 1863. Paul Signac (1863–1935) is one of the most brilliant figures of Post-Impressionism. Together with Georges Seurat, he developed Pointillism, a technique in which tiny dots of color are applied, which merge in the viewer's eye to form harmonious images. But Signac's art was more than technique—it was an expression of a deep love for nature, light, and the vibrancy of life. artmarketobserver.com/paul%20signac%…... #contemporaryart #artist #pointillism #impressionism #peintre #paulsignac #paris #painting #artmuseum read about Paul Signac in the Art Market Observer: shorturl.at/uhF2t

Happy Birthday, Claude Monet! Claude Monet (1840–1926) is one of the most important pioneers of Impressionism—the art movement that focuses on the fleeting, the light, and the moment. Like few of his contemporaries, Monet dared to see the world with fresh eyes and capture this vision in unique plays of color and light. His courage to innovate paved the way for far-reaching developments in art, which ultimately even led to abstract forms of expression. Despite initial rejection, Monet remained true to his artistic vision. His perseverance and authentic expression made him an icon of art history. The work shown in the photograph can be admired at the Musée l'Orangerie in Paris.
