🟥 Global Sumud Flotilla Sets Sail for Gaza @gbsumudflotilla @GMTG_UK 🔳 The International Committee to Break the Siege on Gaza confirmed that more than 50 ships have set sail since Sunday evening from ports across the world, forming the Global Sumud Flotilla. ▪️These vessels will rendezvous near Malta before continuing together toward Gaza’s shores. ▪️ On board are relief supplies, medicine, infant formula, and hundreds of solidarity activists from over 40 countries who have chosen to risk everything to answer Gaza’s call. ▪️ The flotilla aims to make the Mediterranean a passage of freedom instead of blockade turning the sea into a path of solidarity and resistance to genocide. 🔳 Organisers stressed that sailing in the face of confrontation is not a choice, but a duty a response to the cries of Gaza’s heroic children, women, and men, who defend their land, dignity, and humanity under the fire of israeli war criminals. ▪️The Committee demanded international protection for the solidarity activists and human rights defenders on this humanitarian mission. ▪️ This is not simply a voyage; it is a global act of conscience, a declaration that Gaza will not be left alone. 🔳 As they sail, I carry them in my prayers co-founder from @rebuildgaza24 @swilkinsonbc my brother Osama, @PalHouseLDN my brother @TadhgHickey my brothers @LONERANGE @kieran_andrieu @thiagoavilabr and all those on board.
