Today's "Odd Tank" is the 🇺🇸 American 'M17 Whiz Bang' Built during WW2, the T40 and later the M17, is a MLRS (multiple launch rocket system) based on Sherman Medium tanks. The M17 is similar to the T34 Calliope in practice, but the rockets it fires are much larger. The M17 fired a T37 7.2-inch demolition rocket with 32 pounds of plastic explosive inside, the T34 Calliope's rockets were the M8 4.5-inch which had a 4.3 pound warhead.
