That kid you see every morning in the hall who you say ‘good morning’ to but yet never looks up or responds. Keep trying... you may never get a response, but they know you notice them & that reassurance at the start of their day can be huge.

Grading schemes for the same course taught by 2 different teachers might be so different that grades aren't comparable from teacher to teacher. Grades can't be interpretable only in the context of a specific teacher's grading scheme. Achievement can't be subjective.
