@Onecrazyndn @elonmusk I know it's an old phrase, but the point is that it hasn't been a part of the political conversation in this country in recent history. That's probably because it's a cave-man-level view of civilization.

@PamRotella @elonmusk That phrase is far older than Trump. In the case of the meme, strong means men of character. The men who fought against the Nazi's are the easiest example of strong men. The UK cops who handcuffed an 18 yr old victim who was just stabbed by an assylum seeker, are weak.

Inflation was based on more than government spending though, which went mostly to health care. One thing was the rise in wages, and of course when people have more money, landlords raise the rent. Landlords also wanted to recover their losses after some people didn't receive the housing subsidies for those without income to stay in their homes during the pandemic. Wages haven't been keeping up with prices for a long time, though. Nobody's living on $7+ per hour. Those wage hikes were years behind reality. Trump's spending is a different animal. He wants his tax cuts and slush funds, and for some reason a big ballroom with a big bunker. I'd have to question what a man from the Epstein crowd is planning to do with a private space where people can't see what he's doing, or enter to rescue anyone without the adult occupants allowing it. 🤔

You don't have to be a senior at Cal Tech to figure out why inflation rose to 9% under President Biden. He spent billions of dollars and threw money around like it was confetti. This gutted the middle class like a fish.

@ujm7890 @mfa_russia NATO did expand beyond past agreements, but it was Russia that put boots on Ukrainian soil. Russia knows that the US changes presidents every 4-8 years, and they weren't in danger at the time. They could have responded in many ways other than INVADING ANOTHER COUNTRY!

@marlene4719 He's a FAKE Christian, like many in the GOP. Christ was very clear on helping the poor. It helps him to reap where he doesn't sow. He also spelled out we'd be judged on it. Cutting food stamps, waging war, molesting children, taking bribes... NOT Christian.
