This is a big step for New Jersey in our efforts to address the teacher workforce shortage by reducing costs and barriers of entry into the field of education. I look forward to collaborating with the Governor and educators on legislation that can build upon programs like this.

Today @LouGreenwald and @pamlampitt1 were joined by local leaders to share @NJDCA's issuing of "Local Recreational Improvement Grants." These grants provide municipalities and school districts across the state with funding to help improve public areas in our local communities.

SNAP households will no longer receive federal supplemental benefits due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Thanks to new legislation, New Jersey is the first state to establish a new state $50 minimum SNAP benefit starting in March, 2023.
