i think Mario fans are just spoiled by the fact that they rarely ever have truly "bad" games so they've never had to learn the lesson that it's ok to like bad things
That sense of ego prevents them from just admitting that the movies are bad and liking them anyway

Just saw the Mario Galaxy movie, I enjoyed it but the pacing is straight up nonexistent and some scenes are unnecessary, very basic but enjoyable, don't expect this to be some masterpiece, I also understand the criticism of the movie and I know Mario is capable of better stuff.

Big issue with modern copyright discussion is that people exclusively talk in terms of major corpos. What about smaller creators who rely on their own library of content to get by? Should they just not be allowed to get any long term revenue from it cause you wanna spite Disney?

it’s pretty incredible how unusable search is on almost every part of the internet now. a product that worked almost without fail for 7-10 years is just utterly incoherent. it’s as if every search feature on every website simply does not understand the words you’ve typed

You can protect kids online WITHOUT using the government BTW (parental controls software already exists).
