Seeing a lot of confusion right now about whether Victor Wembanyama will be suspended for Game 5, so here’s what NBA rules say might happen: Wembanyama was ejected under NBA Rule 12 for a Flagrant Foul Penalty 2, which officials determined involved “unnecessary and excessive” contact against Naz Reid. That automatically comes with: • Immediate ejection • Minimum $2,000 fine • Mandatory review by the NBA League Office Now the important part: A Flagrant 2 does NOT automatically mean a suspension. The NBA uses a playoff penalty-points system: • Flagrant 1 = 1 point • Flagrant 2 = 2 points • Automatic suspensions begin once a player exceeds 3 total points in a single postseason Since this was Wemby’s FIRST flagrant foul and FIRST ejection of the playoffs, he currently sits at 2 points - just below the automatic suspension threshold. However, the league still has discretionary power to suspend him if they determine the contact created excessive danger or injury risk. So the final decision now rests entirely with the NBA League Office and Commissioner review process.

Very doubtful that Victor Wembanyama will face any further disciplinary action IMO. 1. He’s a star. NBA wants stars in tv. 2. He’s already got 3 quarters time served. 3. He acted defensively and arguably justifiably if you dissect the tape. Mitch Johnson spelled out a good argument.

EXPULSADO Wembanyama por esto.

Is anyone stopping the Knicks? They now have a 58% chance to win the Eastern Conference Finals, via Kalshi.

Hay una epidemia en la NBA en la que todos los entrenadores, sobre todo los más jóvenes, se creen son científicos locos y juegan a ser Phil Jackson. 6 segundos. Tu equipo fundido tras remontar. Todos con el aro cerrado. Abajo por 2. Pedí tiempo y dibujá algo. Ganate el sueldo.

@MaxiYTBasket que cambios harias tu? porque un run it back no servira de nada…
